Justification | A very poorly known species, described by Chodat in 1913 from a single specimen collected by F. Wilms outside Lydenburg, Mpumalanga. According to the most recent revision by Paiva (Paiva 1998), P. nodiflora is probably conspecific with P. amatymbica. However, the type (Wilms 42, PRE), was not examined for the revision, and therefore the species was not formally placed into synonymy. |
