Threats
Agriculture (mainly vines - moderate to severe); urban expansion around Worcester (mainly a past threat, but still present at Langvlei, which is enough to result in this species being listed as VU-D2) (Nick Helme 2006). Agriculture and urban expansion are unlikely to be threats at the locations in which this species grows (mainly in reserves), so it is necessary to obtain more information on the exact nature of the threats.
