Justification | Aspalathus steudeliana has an extent of occurrence (EOO) of 12 000 km². More than 80% of this species' habitat is transformed for the cultivation of wheat, at least 40% of which occurred since 1970, within the past three generations of this slow growing reseeder (generation length ± 15 years). It is therefore listed as Vulnerable under criterion A. |
