A range-restricted (EOO 5000 km²), but fairly common species that is not threatened.

Description
Sandy or stony clay soils on flats and lower south-east facing slopes.
Threats
There are no severe threats to this species (Duncan 2012).
Population

This species is known from 13-15 locations, but is likely to be more common. There are no severe threats and therefore the population is not suspected to be declining.
