Range
It occurs from Soutpansberg to the Wolkberg, and southwards along the Mpumalanga Drakensberg Escarpment to the foothills of the KwaZulu-Natal Drakensberg, the mountains of the Eastern Cape interior, and westwards along the Cape Fold Mountains to the Cederberg. It also occurs on the eastern highlands of Zimbabwe.
