Justification | EOO 7 754 km², this species is known from 12 locations, subpopulations are small (less than 100 individuals per subpopulation) and severely fragmented, occurring on remnant pieces of natural vegetation. There is ongoing decline to subpopulations across the range due to crop cultivation, urban expansion and alien plant invasion. |

Threats |
This species has lost the majority of its habitat to wheat cultivation and vineyards. Remaining plants are confined to small fragments where they continue to be threatened by ongoing habitat loss to agriculture, coastal development along the West Coast and alien invasive plants in the Malmesbury region. |
Population |
Subpopulations are small, a number of subpopulations have been monitored by volunteers of the Custodians of Rare and Endangered Wildflowers (CREW) Programme and thus far have recorded no subpopulation containing more than 100 mature individuals.
