Assessment Date
2007/05/01
Assessor(s)

Justification
Known from three historic collections but not collected in the last 50 years. Not enough is known about the current population status to determine its status. Parts of the Koue Bokkeveld Mountains have burnt three times within the past 10 years, this could be causing a decline to the population.

Threats
Parts of the Koue Bokkeveld Mountains have been burnt at least three times in the past 10 years. Too frequent fires may be a potential threat to this species, however, not enough is known about its specific habitat preferences or life history to determine whether too frequent fire will negatively affect the population.
