Justification
Known from three collections all made before 1945. The locality descriptions on the herbarium records are vague and can not be traced accurately, however there has been extensive habitat loss to fruit cultivation and dam construction in the Olifants River Valley and to rooibos and potato cultivation in the sandveld and this species is highly likely to be very threatened.
