Justification | EOO and AOO <2000 km², occurs as small subpopulations or scattered individuals at 15-20 locations. Collection for horticultural trade caused a decline in the past, but at present overgrazing and trampling by livestock is the main threat to this species. |

Threats |
It was highly sought after by succulent collectors, but is now very common in horticulture. Thus it is unlikely to be collected that much in the wild today. Some populations are threatened by grazing and trampling. |
