Description
Shale renosterveld, in transitional areas between renosterveld and arid sandstone fynbos.
Threats
Ongoing habitat loss to agricultural expansion is the main threat to this species, affecting more than 50% of known locations. The rest of the population occurs within formal (Mountain Catchment areas) and informal protected areas, and do not currently face any threat.
Population

Phiambolia littlewoodii is a rare, localized habitat specialist known from only a few collections. It is declining due to ongoing habitat loss.
