Description | It is commonly found in valley, xeric succulent and mesic succulent thicket types, as well as Eastern Thornveld, south of Grahamstown and Alice. |
Threats |
Livestock trampling and habitat loss caused by urban and agricultural activities in the Sundays River area are the primary threats to this species. Subpopulations in the southwest of the range face potential threats from mining and infrastructure developments, including human settlements, roads, and industry.
The majority of its localities are situated in areas with little to no disturbance. In cases where threats are present, the population size has been observed to be abundant and common, suggesting that these threats are not significantly impacting species. |
