Justification
A widespread species in the eastern parts of southern Africa, with a national extent of occurrence of 26 208 km². It is not in danger of extinction and is listed as Least Concern.

Description
Littoral scrub including under coconut plantations, coastal bushland and dry coastal forest, lowland riverine woodland, usually on sandy soils.

It has been recorded from only a few records nationally but has no known threats. The population is therefore inferred to be stable.
